A dog diagnosed with heat stroke: Finally found a loving home where he can spend the rest of his days in comfort and love.

Mae, a 5-year-old French Mastiff, has had a difficult life but likes everyone she meets. She was critically emaciated when she arrived at Soυtherп Day Aпimal Rescue and weighed just 70 pounds.

She diagnosed him with terminal cancer shortly after his arrival and she only gave him a few weeks to live. Elizabeth Starck, her rescued foster mother, immediately fell in love with Mae and brought her home to care for her.

Her soft face, her charming bite and her sweet temperament have earned her many followers. Mae has become the spokesperson for the rescue and attends fund-raising events to find out and settle everyone’s problems.

Mae likes cooking new people, but she enjoys the food even more. Every day she sews me 10 cans of wet dog food. Starck declared that she had kept several canned dogs at the shelter and she was surprised by the reaction. To support Mae, the shelter received more than 700 cans of dog food and other contributions.

“The love and support you have shown Mae and the rest of us is fantastic and makes me cry.” Mae has slowed down a little in recent days, but she still enjoys all the attention she can receive. “But the most important thing is that she still enjoys her food,” Starck added.

“Because she is fed up, she likes to watch the foster cats and visits them every night. She is so fascinated by the cats that she just sits there and watches them play. “Whenever she sees them, her tail goes crazy.” “She woke me up five times during the night to check on the cats,” Starck wrote.

“The sweet little girl is usually by her mother’s side and follows her everywhere. Even though Mae had clearly met her soulmate, Starck made it official by adopting her in front of the tribe. “Today, in front of Judge Carmichael, we made it official.” “Mae has been adopted, so she can spend her last days with her family (me),” Starck said.

Mae has good and bad days, but she always eats and follows her mother around the house. She will be surrounded by love while she is gone.

“Mae’s rescue mission has become something bigger than she could have dreamed of, and it’s all thanks to you.”
