Rib was located roaming the streets of Campo Mourao, Parana, Brazil. When rescuers initially approached him, he was very scared and confused. But they were extremely patient with him and continued to try and gain his trust so they can assist him.
Poor Rib was in terrible form. His body was covered in mange and wounds, which made him lose the majority of his hair. He also had worms and was extremely weak, depriving and exhausted.
They rushed him to the veterinarian, where they found online maggots in his wounds and discovered that he had anemia and was also infested with ticks and fleas.
They started his therapy and he went to deal with a foster, where he would finally feel safe and liked. Then he took place to his permanently home, where he learned to trust people again and was no longer scared.
His hair grew back in to expose the most gorgeous, fluffy dog. He also got a lot confidence in himself and appeared of his shell.
