ADOPT COCO! Coco is an almost 1 year-old German Shepherd Dog who weighs approximately 71lbs. Coco is just a sweet sweet dog. Curious, goofy, loving, and energetic – he loves everyone, and sees the best in them.
Coco came to Silicon Valley Pet Project with a lame right foot and needed multiple surgeries, first to remove a benign tumor, and then a full amputation of the right leg. Coco has adapted quickly to being an amazing tripawed pup. Throughout Coco’s medical treatments, his sweetness, friendliness, and gentle nature have continued to shine!
Coco currently lives with two older 4-legged brothers and, while he would love to live with a fur-sibling, he is not part of a bonded pair. As long as he has fur friends to play with, Coco will be a happy boy!
Sweet Coco has been perfectly house trained since day one, is crate trained, loves car rides, and while he has not had much opportunity to practice his leash manners, he loves to go for walks. Coco knows the benefit of “Sit” to get his favorite treats, and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.
Coco lives in San Jose, CA with Silicon Valley Pet Project and is waiting for his new forever home.
