Ancelotti ‘criticizes’ the 200 mark, wants to reach 300 with Real Madrid-dubi

Carlo Ancelotti marked his 200th match in La Liga in a more meaningful way when Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo. However, Carletto’s ambition is much bigger than that.

Ancelotti has won La Liga twice, all in his second term at the Bernabeu. Vinicius’ goal in the 66th minute helped the teacher have a perfect celebration.

Ancelotti’s record in Spain’s highest tournament is 143 wins, 33 draws and 24 losses. He has the longest unbeaten streak in Real history with 42 consecutive matches and is approaching Barcelona’s record. Currently, the 65-year-old strategist is only behind Legend Miguel Munoz in 2 Wind columns as the Real coach with the most matches and wins in La Liga.

Ancelotti là một huyền thoại của Real

“There are a lot of good memories, some not so good,” Ancelotti said when learning about his new lamp post. “I don’t know, but I think the goal here is to play as many rounds as possible. I will try to reach 300 rounds in La Liga. Let’s see if I can do it,” he said.

I’m very happy. In how many of these 200 matches have we not suffered? We have suffered in all, in many we have succeeded and in some we have failed. Today I’m very happy, not only because we reached 200 matches, but also because we won after returning from the national team call-up. It’s always difficult to play these types of matches, especially away from home. We started well after our last break against Real Sociedad and we started well tonight, winning on a difficult field.”

The victory over Celta Vigo is also a memorable book column for another Real legend. As soon as Ancelotti put Modric on the field in the 63rd minute, the Croatian midfielder set a record of becoming the oldest player in the match against Real Madrid.

Luka at the age of 39 years and 40 days surpassed the old record of the Legend Ferenc Puskas (39 years and 36 days) set in his last match as a Real Madrid player, on May 8, 1966 in the King’s Cup with Real Betis.

Puskas remains the oldest player in Real Madrid’s history to score, at 39 years and 15 days, another record within Modric’s reach this season. Time is running out as it is expected that this will be Modric’s last season at Madrid.
