Someone reported to the Kokkachi shelter about a puppy with a wound around its stomach, so the volunteer team went there and investigated at the time when it was outside the cave, but they had nothing to catch it.
So they returned to the shelter and got all the necessary supplies like cloth, milk, and a bag. The team returned when the puppy entered the cave and did not come out. Someone placed a bowl of milk outside the cave and waited for several hours.
After a few hours, it came out of the cave, by which time the cave had been sealed with wooden blocks. They caught it, wrapped it in a towel, and took it to a veterinary clinic in Calicut.
The rescue attempt was difficult as it kept going back inside when they tried to catch it. Because the cave was very big, it took them time to catch it.
Because it was a public holiday, the veterinary clinics were closed. Finally, they found a good doctor who agreed to treat him, Dr. Shihabudheen, who performed all the treatments for free.
They took the puppy to the Kokkachi shelter for treatment. “And he will be a member of the Kokkachi family.”
The puppy healed quickly and is full of vigor. From the moment they saw him, all the shelter staff fell in love with him. He has stunning eyes.
Currently, the puppy is in wonderful condition and enjoys every moment with his human friends, but he still needs a permanent family…
