This was the case for Mori, who lived her entire life locked in a tiny, tiny enclosure. Her owner didn’t treat her well, and even though she was visibly pregnant, Mori only knew abandonment and sadness.

A kind man came across Mori and found her in terrible conditions.

The man’s heart broke when he noticed that Mori was, on top of everything, just days away from giving birth. Her stomach was large and she could barely move, indicating that the puppies could be born at any moment.

Mori had a kind and sad expression on her face, with two piercing eyes that begged for help. When she saw the strange man in front of her “home,” she kept wagging her tail, trying to make friends. Underneath all that sadness, there was a loving and sweet dog!

It was as if she knew that this man was her only chance for freedom.

Touched by her condition, the man immediately offered to adopt her. He could not bear the thought of her having her babies in such a precarious environment. Mori’s owner agreed, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Mori Now Has A Big Family

After her first x-ray, which revealed nine puppies in Mori’s belly, her new owner prepared a warm and cozy place for her where she could safely give birth.

For the first time in a long time, Mori felt comfortable. Even though she was already in labor, you could tell how much she enjoyed being treated kindly. It took her a whole day to bring all of her puppies into the world, and in the end, no one was prouder than her.
