Day after day, stray dogs struggle to survive the difficult life on the streets. They try to find and eat anything that resembles food in order to trick their hungry stomachs.
A little puppy who was dragging her paws along the square was looking for food, too.
Every time she met humans, the pup looked up at them with hopeful eyes and begged for help. Although people didn’t help her, the canine refused to give up.
Feeling exhausted and running out of strength, she crawled around the square.
She hoped to catch the eyes of good humans who would show her kindness and offer the help that she needed more than ever before.
The Puppy Meets Her Rescuers
Luckily, kind people saw a little puppy roaming the square with a tired expression on her face.
Their hearts sank after they saw the pup’s condition. She was malnourished, and her fur was matted in clumps.
The good humans approached her. The stray smiled at them, feeling glad because someone finally noticed her.
The rescuers sat next to the puppy. They petted her, trying to console her and reassure her that they would help her.
When the good souls picked her up and carried her in their arms, the puppy felt safe.
