Today is my birthday, but I haven’t received any birthday wishes yet

His rescuers are determined that Landis will never again be referred to by the dehumanizing name “Gargoyle.” Instead, he will be known only as Landis, a name that signifies his fresh start and the love and kindness he will receive moving forward.

Landis’s story is a poignant reminder of the resilience of abused animals and their capacity for love even after experiencing the worst of humanity. While we cannot undo the pain he has already endured, we can ensure that his future is filled with the care and affection he so desperately needs.
