This heroic dog is always around to lend a helping paw to his disabled owner as he spends his days pushing him around in his wheelchair.
Owner Laoma Yen claims he never trained his pet to push him in the home-made wheelchair, and that one day, the dog just decided to help.
Laoma travels just over half-a-mile every day from his home to his street-side shoe repair stall in the city of Luoyang in central China’s Henan Province.
‘When I looked round to say thanks, I saw my dog pushing me and was really amazed but also grateful.
‘I gave him a lot of praise and then ever since then every time I get slow, I get an extra shove from my best friend.’
Laoma found the dog on abandoned on the street as a puppy, but despite having the pet for two years, he has never named him.

He said: ‘Ever since the story was in the newspaper he has been even more enthusiastic about getting into work, because once he gets there his fans are waiting with all the tasty treats that he usually likes.
‘I must say that if he carries on eating like this, he will probably need a wheelchair to get around as well.’
