The dynamic duo was caught enthusiastically participating in the iconic “I-O” chant inside the stadium, with Bronny even sharing a snapshot from the venue on his Instagram.
As Bronny contemplates his future after his senior year at Sierra Canyon High School, LeBron and his wife Savannah revealed to Sports Illustrated that their son is leaning towards a collegiate career rather than jumping straight into the NBA G-League, an overseas league, or other professional opportunities in 2023-24. Savannah expressed, “I think it would be wonderful if [Bronny] began his basketball career in college, just to start building his legacy there.”
LeBron James has made it clear that he dreams of playing alongside his sons, Bronny and Bryce. But what’s wrong with that?
At 17, Bronny has already attracted interest from top programs like Memphis, Ohio State, USC, and others. He’s regarded as one of the premier combo guards of the 2023 class and is expected to garner even more attention throughout his senior season.
While LeBron stated that Bronny hasn’t officially visited any schools yet, the four-time NBA champion emphasized that his son will make the final decision about his career. “You’ll hear it from him,” James previously tweeted.
As Bronny embarks on the next chapter of his basketball journey, he will undoubtedly face many comparisons to his legendary father. However, if he chooses the college route, it will be fascinating to see if he decides to bring his talents to his father’s home state.
