Man Utd legend Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen enjoyed a rare, warm day together.

Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen Rooney were spotted enjoying a rare day out together in the sunshine.

The sportsman and his 35-year-old wife appeared at ease as they strolled around the town heart of Cheshire.

Wayne, 35, dressed warmly in black joggers, a matching black sweatshirt, and a black puffer jacket.

He wore grey Nike trainers and a grey hat while running errands with his wife.

Coleen kept things simple with black leggings, white trainers, and a white hoodie.

Their appearance coincides with Coleen’s Wagatha Christie legal battle with Rebekah Vardy.

With all of the turmoil going on behind the scenes, Wayne has been supporting his wife, with whom he has four children.

In 2020, a source told The Sun Online that Wayne and Coleen Rooney are stronger than ever after spending time together during lockdown.

“This is the longest period of unbroken time they’ve spent together since their marriage, and Coleen has fallen in love with Wayne all over again.

“She says that she now remembers what a wonderful, caring companion he is – and an amazing dad to the boys.”

Coleen’s lawyers were present at a hearing last month in which the High Court addressed the timing for a potential trial as well as any arguments over the parties’ legal bills.

Rebekah’s projected budget was £897,000, prompting Rooney representatives to label Vardy’s budget for the battle as ‘grotesque’.

Coleen’s barrister, John Samson, asked the court to’reject the claimant’s cost budget and ask them to reconsider it because, in the words of my lay client, it is hideous’.

Judge Roger Eastman heard that ‘the claimant’s budget to date, including incurred costs, is double that of the defendant.

The court dispute began in October 2019 when Coleen accused Rebekah, 39, of distributing fake allegations about her personal life after using Instagram to screen suspects.

Rebekah adamantly denied being involved in the leak.
