Man Utd’s resurgence gains momentum with the dynamic return of Martial and Johnny Evans to training, infusing the squad with renewed vigor ahead of the Crystal Palace showdown.
Two returning players featured in Manchester United’s latest training session on Thursday morning.
The Reds are preparing for the Premier League match against Crystal Palace on Monday night and the ranks have been swelled by the reappearance of Jonny Evans and Anthony Martial.
The experienced pair took part in first-team training, in front of our cameras, and will be hoping to play their part in the run-in, with four league fixtures and the Emirates FA Cup final against Manchester City to come.
Evans has had to deal with what was described as a minor issue that has kept him out since the defeat to Chelsea on 4 April.
In the 4-3 loss, Willy Kambwala replaced the 36-year-old, who had entered the game as a substitute, after just 21 minutes of play in the second half at Stamford Bridge.
Martial has not been accessible since undergoing surgery in January to repair a groin ailment.
The striker did not play in the 9 December match against Bournemouth. Earlier in the season, he scored in our Carabao Cup victory versus Palace at Old Trafford.
We’ll hear from manager Erik ten Hag later on Thursday because it’s unknown if they’ll be well enough to travel with the team to London.
