Onana got harsh criticism from Manchester United fans after he missed a late chance that would have tied the game between their team and Burnley.

Antony scored his first Premier League goal of the season in the 79th minute, giving United the lead.

After only six minutes, Burnley was given a penalty because Onana misread the flight of a cross ball and hit Zeki Amdouni in the face.

The Burnley forward stepped up and sent Onana the wrong way, which was important for his team because they got a point at Old Trafford.

On social media, United fans let everyone know how they felt. Some even called for the Cameroon international to be sold.

Someone wrote, “Please sell Andre Onana to Manchester United.” Thank you very much. Making the same mistake over and over.

Someone else wrote, “Onana cost us that game.” Anyway, I’ve never seen a goalkeeper make so many mistakes that led to penalties.

“How many goals has Onana kept United from scoring this year?” Two in the last two games… think the number must be at least six? A third United fan said the same thing.

United bought Onana from Inter Milan for £47 million in the summer, but the Champions League winner has had a rough start at Old Trafford.
