Erik ten Hag’s team couldn’t build on their win over Sheffield United last week, as they were tied 1-1 by the Clarets at Old Trafford.

Manchester United took the lead in the 79th minute when Antony scored his first Premier League goal of the season. However, Zeki Amdouni scored a penalty kick for the away team to tie the game.

When Alejandro Garnacho went down in the box in the 25th minute after Sander Berge tackled him, the Red Devils might have been given a penalty.

The Argentinian caused more trouble when Lorenz Assignon stamped on him right before halftime.

It wasn’t until late in the game that the ball hit Vitinho’s arm after Antony had shot it that the speedster went down.

Ten Hag talked about the second episode and asked, “If you give Aaron Wan-Bissaka a penalty in the final, then what is this Alejandro Garnacho penalty claim?” In what way is there consistency?

United fans were angry and posted about it on social media. One wrote, “Just no pen for the United because the referees are antiMU.”

Someone else wrote, “Something needs to be said when a judge denies giving three penalties and at least VAR looks at it for a team, then the other team has one call for a penalty and VAR gives it right away.

Ten Hag said, “I am the manager, and I have to decide what the team needs.” “Taking off very young players who are in their first year of the Premier League and are getting tired was the right thing to do.”

“Both of them have been hurt this season, and I want to keep them safe.”

“Fans need to wait.” I get that they want to see how skilled these players are, but every year the league gets tougher, and the young players need to get used to it. It takes time for that.
