Rui Hachimura’s Extravagant Encino Estate: A $7.25M Mansion Complete with a Vast Shoe Collection and Ultimate Relaxation Space

Rui Hachimura, forward for the Los Angeles Lakers, has made a substantial real estate investment in Encino, California.

The baller of Japanese descent recently acquired a contemporary mansion boasting over 7,300 square feet, six bedrooms, and 6.5 bathrooms for a total investment of $7,250,000.

Hachimura, who signed a five-year, $51 million contract with the Lakers last summer, possesses spending capital. A few photographs of his newly excavated property, located approximately 20 miles east of Los Angeles, are provided below.

The listing information describes this brand-new residence as a modern farmhouse; however, based on the limited observations we have made, it seems to have a more modern aesthetic rather than a pastoral one.

Clean in appearance, the structure features a dark exterior and an abundance of glass to illuminate the interior with the Southern California sun.

.

Throughout, premium materials were utilized, such as Douglas fir, white oak, natural stone, metal, and glass finishes. A butler’s pantry and dual islands comprise the ultra-luxurious kitchen, which is accompanied by a home bar, office, personal gym, and screening room.

Elegant features abound in the master suite, including a spacious balcony, walk-in closets, a tremendous double shower, and a Jacuzzi tub.

In the private courtyard, where olive trees and cypress trees adorn the landscape, a pool is an obvious addition.

In addition to a cabana, Jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and lounge area, the exterior features a spa. Moreover, an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) featuring its own living space and kitchenette is included with the property.

In 2019, Hachimura joined the Washingtоn Wizards as the first Japanese national to ever be selected in the first round of the NBA draft. He was named the Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year during his inaugural season. In January 2023, following four seasons with the Wizards, Hachimura was traded to the Lakers.
