When a rescuer learned of the existence of a pregnant dog, he did not hesitate to fulfill the promise he made to her late mother.

Dogs are wonderfully intriguing creatures who are always willing to provide unconditional affection, especially to young babies for whom they are willing to give their lives.

Along the journey, Gaia meets two kind people who took care of her during the last trimester of her pregnancy.

Despite her desire to give him a home, the wild dog refuses to trust humans again and prefers to care for her offspring alone.

However, concerned women turned to Bill’s foundation to ensure the dog had received all the help she needed to give birth to her puppies.

This is how a rescuer named Eldad Hagar arrived at the birth site in search of the dog and puppies.

However, he was upset when he found only the three babies and no evidence of the mother.

“I kept looking behind me to make sure the mother didn’t run away to protect her cubs,” Eldad explained.

Shortly after, a stranger approached the rescuer and gave him the bad news: the dog had been run over and was lying on the side of the road.

Eldad quickly headed towards where the dog’s almost dying corpse was found and, inspired by the situation, he made the most significant promise of his life with his last breath:

“I’m sorry they treated you this way.

The man quickly headed towards where the puppies were to fulfill his promise, but the puppies got scared and hid in a large hole.

Eldad used food to get their attention and lure them out of hiding, and he succeeded for one of the cubs named Sydney.

Even though the man already had one of the cubs with him, Sydney’s screams led her siblings to retreat further down the hole, where Eldad couldn’t reach them.

“At that point, the other two cubs got scared and didn’t come out for two hours,” Eldad explained.

The man was worried that the cubs would continue to sink deeper into the hole, making rescue difficult.

Thus he was able to save the lovely Matilda, but he still needed to save a third baby.

the third puppy finally decided to come out after four hours of waiting;

When the three puppies were reunited, the rescuer transported them to the shelter, where within a couple of days they found a new family that would give them all the love Gaia could have wanted.

This tragic tragedy reminds us how important it is to be much more humane with stray animals.

Abandoning them to their fate is a great evil, but even in a state as delicate as a pregnancy.
