Liz was working as a waitress manager in San Diego when her customer, Big Ed, asked her out on a date out of the blue. Liz said yes out of pity for Big Ed, who was nursing a broken heart following his Philippines trip to meet Rose Vega. Little did Liz know that the next few years would be the most devastating for her.
Liz and Big Ed started dating and broke up soon after. A leaked phone call between Liz and Big Ed started making the rounds on social media where he hurled verbal abuse at her and gaslighted her for four minutes. Liz continued to date Big Ed and even got engaged to him after a brief breakup. However, multiple breakups followed, with them getting back together repeatedly and eventually deciding to tie the knot in August 2023. The current 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season shows Liz and Big Ed planning their big day and exploring career opportunities in real estate.
Reddit user cuddlyturtle945 shared a screenshot of Liz’s Instagram Stories on November 22, 2023. They wrote that they got the picture from a video that Liz had posted and that the man in it was “clearly” not Big Ed. Liz likes sharing boomerang-style videos of her clinking drinks on Instagram. While it’s usually her friends she posts about, this time fans noticed it was a man who didn’t look like Big Ed. Moreover, Liz had captioned her uploads “date night,” which meant she was with someone new. Liz only showed Jayson’s hand and a part of his neck and chest.

Liz was yet to confirm that she was dating someone new at the time. After all, there were rumors of her getting married to Big Ed in August 2023 and two months later she was going on dates. Liz didn’t seem to want to hide Jayson’s presence in her life to abide by her contract. While she wasn’t revealing his face yet, Liz was indicating that she and Big Ed were no longer together. Liz was very much on a romantic date with a man who wasn’t Big Ed.
Liz has had an on-and-off relationship with Big Ed. Their first split was before fans could see them on the Tell All for 90 Day: The Single Life season 1. They got back together in a few months. Big Ed and Liz had shockingly announced that they were engaged right after they reconciled. However, it was just the first of their many splits. The couple had split more than 13 times when they decided they needed couples therapy. The sessions proved to be in their favor because they decided to get married and even moved to Arkansas together.

Liz decided to reveal her New Year’s Day plans with a bang on Instagram. Liz posted an Instagram Story showing her “ringing in the New Year” with Jayson. Liz sat in the passenger seat of a car with her legs crossed. She was wearing a dark blue hoodie and her left hand was clasped with someone dressed in a gray hoodie. Liz was holding hands with her boyfriend. Liz was making it clear that Big Ed was not going to be a part of her new year and new life.
In January 2024, Instagram blogger @90daythemelanatedway revealed Liz’s new boyfriend’s identity. They reposted Liz’s Instagram Story showing her celebrating New Year’s 2024 with her boyfriend as she held hands with him in the car. A different photo was again a repost from Liz’s IG Story where her boyfriend had bent down on his knees to tie Liz’s undone shoelaces. Liz was proud of Jayson and the little things he did to make her happy. She’d captioned the photo “His Stubborn Princess.” However, the third picture revealed her boyfriend’s identity. Liz had taken a selfie with him.

The fan addressed Liz directly in their caption. They wanted to tell Liz that she deserved the happiness that was coming her way. Liz could have easily ignored the post. She didn’t need to comment or confirm the rumors of her having a new boyfriend. However, Liz shocked fans by replying to them on the post.

Liz confirmed that she was happy in her new relationship. She even said thank you to her co-star, Tyray Mollett. Tyray had said that he was “so happy” for Liz and her boyfriend Jayson.
Liz had two reasons to celebrate the month of February. It was going to be her first Valentine’s Day with Jayson, and it was also Jayson’s birthday on February 11, 2024. Liz took to her Instagram Stories to wish her boyfriend a happy birthday. Liz posted a video showing her and Jayson clinking glasses together on his special day. Liz also decided to throw some subtle shade at Big Ed through her Stories for Jayson.

Liz captioned the photo, “I hope his mom knows that her son is taking good care of someone’s daughter.”
Liz wanted her fans to know that Big Ed never took good care of her. Jayson, according to Liz, was the best partner who catered to all her needs. Liz didn’t tag Jayson and cropped his face out of the photo. However, it wasn’t Big Ed, since Jayson doesn’t match his height or stature.
In another photo posted around Jayson’s birthday, Liz declared her love for her new man. In the photo, Liz had her arms wrapped around Jayson’s neck. Liz was seen planting a kiss on Jayson’s cheek. While Jayson’s back was turned to the camera, Jayson stood much taller than Liz, unlike Big Ed. Liz decided to convey her feelings for him through a romantic song. She used James Arthur’s love song “Say You Won’t Let Go” The lyrics on her photo did all the talking.

Liz had sneakily posted Jayson’s photo showing his face in a series of IG Stories in December 2023. Liz was celebrating her holidays with her family in San Diego. Liz also casually confirmed that she was no longer living in Arkansas through these Stories. Liz took her daughter Ryleigh to Whaley House.
